Terms of use

These terms govern the use of HIVE and of this website. By using HIVE, the subscribing business and its users accept them.

Who we are

HIVE is developed and operated by International Technologies S.A.S. de C.V. (brand: Geeks), Ciudad Marsella Q4 U22, La Libertad, El Salvador. Contact: [email protected], +503 7838 2036.

The service

HIVE is a web-based business management system (ERP). It includes modules for:

electronic invoicing and point of sale;
inventory, purchasing and accounting;
banking and human resources;
WhatsApp messaging, among others.

Each business's modules, prices and commercial conditions are set in its proposal or contract. If that contract conflicts with these terms, the contract prevails.

Accounts and access

The business decides who can access HIVE and with which permissions.
Each user must keep their password secret and is responsible for activity on their account.
If you suspect someone used your account without permission, tell us right away at [email protected].

Business responsibilities

Ensure the data it enters in HIVE is accurate and that it has the right to use it, including its customers' and employees' data.
Ensure the tax documents it issues reflect real transactions and comply with the law.
Comply with data protection law towards its own customers: the business is the controller of that data, and HIVE acts as processor.

Use of WhatsApp

Businesses that send WhatsApp messages from HIVE agree to:

Message only people who gave prior consent to receive messages.
Honor opt-outs immediately: anyone who replies STOP or BAJA stops receiving messages.
Use only Meta-approved templates to start conversations.
Obtain separate consent for promotional or marketing messages.
Comply with the WhatsApp Business and Meta policies.

HIVE may pause or suspend a business's messaging if Meta lowers the quality rating of its number or if we detect abuse, spam or use contrary to these rules.

Acceptable use

HIVE may not be used to:

send spam or unsolicited messages;
carry out illegal or fraudulent activities;
issue false tax documents;
attempt to access other businesses' data;
compromise the security of the system;
resell the service without authorization.

Privacy

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy policy.

Availability and support

We work to keep HIVE available at all times. Interruptions may still happen due to maintenance, provider outages or causes beyond our control.
When possible, we announce scheduled interruptions in advance.
Support is provided by Geeks or by the authorized distributor that serves the business: AppStudios S.A. de C.V., SAC Systems S.A. de C.V. or Cuentaxnow S.A. de C.V. Geeks can be reached at [email protected] and +503 7838 2036.

Intellectual property

HIVE, its code, design and brand belong to International Technologies S.A.S. de C.V.
The data a business enters in HIVE belongs to that business.

End of service

A business may stop using HIVE as agreed in its contract.
We may suspend or terminate access for a business that breaches these terms.
When service ends, the business has 90 days to export its information. After that it is deleted, except what the law requires us to keep.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or data loss caused by misuse of the system or by inaccurate information entered by the business.

Changes to these terms

Significant changes are announced by email to customer businesses and on this website 30 days in advance.
Continuing to use HIVE after that date means accepting them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of El Salvador. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of El Salvador.
