Data deletion

You can ask us to delete your personal data from HIVE at any time. Here is how.

If you only want to stop receiving WhatsApp messages

No request is needed: reply STOP or BAJA to any message and you will stop receiving them.

How to request deletion

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion" and include:

1. Your full name.
2. The email address or phone number you were registered with.
3. If you are a customer of a business that uses HIVE, the name of that business.

If you are a HIVE user or contacted us through the website form, your name and email are enough.

If you are a customer of a business that uses HIVE

That business is the controller of your data. You can ask it to delete your data, or write to us directly. If you write to us, we coordinate your request with that business.

What happens next

1. We confirm we received your request.
2. We verify your identity, so we never delete someone else's data by mistake.
3. We delete your data and let you know when it is done.

We reply within 30 days.

What we cannot delete

By law, some data must be kept even if you request deletion. This includes electronic tax documents (DTE) and accounting records, which are kept for the period required by tax law. During that time they are not used for any other purpose.
